ESSB PARENT LETTER - Information concerning H1N1

The week of November 16th is Drug and Alcohol Prevention Week. There will be student awareness activities throughout the week. There are no classes for students on Thursday, November 19th, and Friday, November 20th. Teachers will be attending PD workshops in Montreal.

Grosse Ile School overlooks sand dunes, with the Gulf St. Lawrence in the background. The original construction was completed in 1953. Renovated in 1996, it is now a school with lots of natural lighting that creates a bright environment. Visitors tell us that our school has a ‘homey’ feeling to it.

Grosse Ile School serves Anglophones from all over the Islands. In fact, it is the only English school on the Magdalen Islands that certifies high school studies.
